February 20, 2008 - SYMPHONY HALL DEBUT ANNOUNCED

Bianca will appear as soloist with the Boston Pops on May 15th.  She will play the Fantasie Brillante on themes from Bizet's Carmen by Francois Borne.

January 27, 2007 - EDUCATIONAL PERFORMANCE

Bianca recently performed educational demonstrations of the standard C-flute, piccolo and an eclectic collection of world flutes at Boston’s Symphony Hall. Bianca is excited to start an internship with the From the Top radio show in Boston, Massachusetts, a non-profit multi-media organization whose mission is to encourage and celebrate the development of youth through music.

Britten's "The Rape of Lucretia"
Castleton, Virginia

19 YOA musicians have been invited for a 2-week residency at Maestro Lorin Maazel’s “Castleton Farms” in Rappahannock County, Virginia, for the period April 5 – 15, 2007. YOA musicians will rehearse and perform The Rape of Lucretia by Benjamin Britten, with libretto by Ronald Duncan after the play by Andre Obey, together with seven vocal soloists (TBA). The concert will be held in Castleton Farm’s intimate Theatre House, which allows an unparalleled degree of communication between performers and audience.
